April 30, 2021 The Building Safety Fund
Holden Mill has been accepted by the Government to receive funding from this scheme to enable the cladding to be replaced on both level 2 and level 7 of the building.
The BSF is a £1 billion government scheme set up by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to assist private residential buildings over 18m replace non-compliant cladding. This was put in place after the Grenfell tower tragedy to ensure that all cladding is compliant. The fund is given on a first come, first serve basis and there are strict deadlines to meet. Holden Mill has been accepted and received the funds to undertake the cladding replacement on both level 2 and level 7.
