Recom Solutions undertook the main contracting for the development and fit out of 2no floors to the RPB barber shop in The Norther Quarter,  Manchester.  This was the design, procurement of all consultants followed by the fit out of the scheme.

The complete refurbishment included:

• Mechanical and Electrical Design
• Rip Out works of the existing spaces
• Full Mechanical and Electrical works
• Drylining and ceilings
• IT installations
• Decoration and wall finishes
• Flooring finishes throughout
• Joinery 
• Bespoke Furniture manufacture and install
• Handover and Commissioning

Key issues, managed by Recom Solutions:

• Programme and Sequencing – Highly busy part of Manchester. deliveries and impact on residents was crucial.
• Stakeholder Liaison – Recom Solutions held daily meetings with the client to ensure the successful handover of the project whilst working in a live, sensitive environment (the scheme was within a live construction site).
• Material Selection – Bespoke materials and purpose built backbar, lighting and floor finishes.
